Finalmente abbiamo trovato l'ospedale. Siamo stati a visitare l'ospedale "Sandro Pertini" e ci e' piaciuto molto. Ci hanno fatto fare il giro del repartoe ci e' piaciuto.
Abbiamo visto la sala travaglio che poi diventa anche sala parto, quindi bello perche' non devo fare il travaglio con altre persone attorno che urlano, ma posso stare da sola con Nigel, posso avere la musica e la mia palla.
Per il parto posso assumere la posizione che preferisco e subito dopo partorito mi danno subito la bimba e Nigel puo' tagliare il cordone. Poi laveranno e peseranno la bambina davanti a noi, nella stessa stanza e faranno i primi esami.
Dopo per i giorni di degenza ci sono stanze a due o quattro e si fa il rooming in quindi la bimba sara' sempre con me. Se tutto e' ok al terzo giorno ci fanno tornare a casa.
L'ospedale dista 12km da casa, ci vogliono circa 15-20 minuti ad arrivare. Son sicura che avremo tempo, ora ci sentiamo piu' tranquilli :-)
Finally we found the hospital, it's called "Sandro Pertini". We visited the obstetrics ward. They showed us the labour room that works also as delivery room. I like it cos I don't need to change room for the delivery and I have a single room for the labour where I can stay with Nigel and not we other screaming women. I am allowed to listen to music and bring my fit ball.
For the delivery I can choose the position I prefer more and immediately after the delivery they will give me the baby and Nigel can cut the umbilicus cord. After they weight the baby and wash her in front of us and do all the routine checks.
For the stay in hospital they have room with 2 beds or 4. Also they do the rooming in so the baby will be always with me. If everything is ok the third day we can go home.
The hospital is at 12km from us, it takes 15-20 minutesto get there. I am sure we can get there on time, definitely now we are more relaxed :-)
